Three years later (2005)



View from top deck. All the plants and the pond have now matured. There's a few inches of sed/soil on the bottom. Water lillies now bloom all summer long. New addition is 'turtle rock' - a series of rock ledges that the turtle (Reggie) can bask on. In fact, he can be seen in the photo above (just right of center and between the two pond bullrushes). THe bullrushes are left in the pond all winter and bloom again in spring. All other tropical pond plants winter indoors.
